BALL STATE PBS
THE LOADING ZONE
Editor, Animator, Camera Operator
The Loading Zone stars Billy and Penelope, two robots who learn about the world from Digital Corps students. It's an educational, one-minute segment that is published on Ball State's PBS Station and airs in between PBSKids episodes.

Since joining the Corps, I have worked on almost every stage of production for this series. When I started as a freshman, I worked on recording the live action segment, where Corps students explain how something works to Billy and Penelope, and even stood in as talent for one of them! As a sophomore, I edited voiceovers of Billy and Penelope from two Digital Corps alumni, as well as assembled fully edited episodes for publication. Now, as a junior, I am learning how to animate Billy and Penelope as they wonder about new STEAM topics.
Through working on this project, I have utilized skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Character Animator, and Adobe Illustrator. I've loved being a part of educating young children about STEAM topics and look forward to the rest of the semester as I finish animating a few episodes to get them ready for publication.
